The Company has ground water sources at the “Blanche
Banques” boreholes located in St Ouen’s Bay. There are 5 boreholes,
which range in depth from 13 to 17 metres, extracting water from the sand
aquifer that lies underneath the sand dunes along the coastline.
Rainfall on the higher ground surrounding the sand dunes
collects in the aquifer from where the water is pumped into Val de la
Mare Reservoir.
