At our Annual General Meeting today, we said farewell to Heather MacCallum, who stepped down after completing her nine years of service on Jersey Water’s Board of Directors.
During her term, the company has made real progress from improving water quality and strengthening our response to challenges like PFAS and nitrates, to planning major investments such as the essential upgrade of our desalination plant and the move to our new operational headquarters and laboratory at Rue des Pres. Heather helped guide us through Covid, Brexit, changes in government and global conflicts, always keeping customers at the forefront of our decisions.
The AGM also saw Paul Masterton take over the position of Chair of the Board of Directors. Paul joined the Board in October and will now help lead the next phase of our work to keep Jersey’s water supply safe, reliable and resilient for the future.
Here’s 2025 highlights video that captures some of the milestones and moments from the past year.
