Five easy habits to start today:

 

  1. Avoid leaving the tap running when you wash your hands.
  2. If you have dual flush toilets, use the shorter flush whenever possible.
  3. Consider plumbed in water heaters that provide boiling water for hot drinks on tap
  4. Fill a jug of water and keep it in the fridge, instead of leaving the tap running to get the water cool.
  5. Include water use reminders in toilets, cloakrooms, staffrooms, canteens and visitor facilities and educate staff on how to be more water-efficient
