We have said a huge thank you and congratulations to one of our longest serving employees, Paul Batho, who has retired after 38 years of dedicated service to the company.
Paul joined Jersey Water as a plumber in August 1988 and went on to build a remarkable career spanning a number of leadership roles across the business. Throughout nearly four decades, he has played an important role in maintaining and developing the Island’s water network, helping to deliver reliable service to customers and supporting many of Jersey Water’s most significant projects and milestones.
Reflecting on Paul’s contribution, Chief Water Operations Officer, Mark Manton said:
“Paul’s 38 years of service is an incredible achievement. Throughout his career he has demonstrated professionalism, integrity and a genuine commitment to both Jersey Water and his colleagues.
His knowledge and experience have been invaluable, but what many people will remember most is the positive impact he has had on the teams around him. Paul’s leadership, fairness and support for others have helped shape the culture of our organisation.
On behalf of everyone at Jersey Water, I would like to thank Paul for his exceptional contribution and wish him every happiness in his retirement.”
Paul leaves behind a lasting legacy and will be greatly missed by colleagues across the business.
Everyone at Jersey Water wishes Paul and his family a long, happy and well-deserved retirement.
