To honour outstanding achievement in the field of people management and development, the CIPD Jersey Group held their second awards at a black tie gala dinner at the Hotel de France on Saturday 12th October 2013.
The Awards showcased individuals and organisations who evidenced the real value HR delivered for those businesses.
Lorna Pestana, Chair of CIPD Jersey Group commented “The CIPD Jersey Group Awards recognised people who aspire to high professional standards and are constantly developing, motivating and retaining talent in their organisations as HR takes on an increasingly important role in driving business success. We had an overwhelming response on entries, and the quality of those entries was truly outstanding, which demonstrated very clearly that Jersey has some great HR practitioners and it is these people and organisations that inspire us, that we want to work for, and will help us learn, develop and fulfil our own potential. It was great to receive entries from a mixture of public and private sector organisations, and for the first time the not for profit sector demonstrating the positive impact HR is having across different types of businesses.”
