We’ve unveiled our latest public water refill point, located at Howard Davis Park in St Helier.
This is the sixth outdoor facility to be added to our Island-wide network, which so far includes St Aubin, St John’s Village, St Clement’s Sports Hub, Halkett Street and the Weighbridge, as well as four indoor points at Jersey Airport.
Rolling out these water stations around the Island is part of our commitment to promoting sustainability and providing the community with convenient access to free drinking water.
Martin Skyba, our Head of Network, commented:
“Our latest refill point is a direct response to our community’s needs and reflects our ongoing efforts to give the public access to free water when out and about. Whether attending an event or simply enjoying the park, people can now easily stay hydrated without needing to buy bottled water.”
Accessible for all park visitors, the water refill point is conveniently located midway between the two main entrances on the pathway adjacent to Don Road.
In addition to Howard Davis Park, we are actively working on expanding our network of refill stations, fulfilling our commitment to install a minimum of two per year at high footfall locations around the Island.
We will shortly submit a planning application for a refill point in St Brelade’s Bay.
