Jersey Water will be carrying out important upgrades to its water infrastructure in St Brelade later this month, focusing on improving its metering system to better monitor flow, manage leakage and future-proof the network.
The planned works will take place overnight on 15 May, within a five-hour window to minimise disruption to local residents. During this time, properties located between La Route Orange and Corbière may experience reduced water pressure.
Martin Skyba, Jersey Water’s Network Service Delivery Manager, commented:
“We recognise the inconvenience that any disruption to service can cause, which is why we’ve scheduled this essential work overnight. Our aim is to upgrade the network while minimising any impact on residents. This upgrade will ensure the network remains reliable, efficient, and ready for future demands. We thank the public for their patience and aim to get the upgrades completed as quickly as possible.”
Jersey Water thanks residents for their understanding and cooperation during these upgrades.
