Water is something we all rely on every day, and we know how important it is that you can trust its quality and reliability, now and in the future.
Jersey’s drinking water is consistently monitored and is safe to drink. Alongside this ongoing work, we want to better understand what Islanders think and feel about their water supply.
That’s why we’re inviting Islanders to take part in a short survey so we can build a clearer understanding of what people think about drinking water in Jersey.
The survey, which is being undertaken independently on our behalf by Island Global research, will be landing through letterboxes Island-wide from this week. We are keen to hear from as many Islanders as possible, whether or not water quality is something you have thought much about before.
The survey covers a range of topics, including:
- drinking water quality and taste
- reliability and supply
- issues such as PFAS, nitrates and water shortages.
Alongside the work we already do to monitor and manage water quality and plan for future supply, this research will help build a clearer picture of what matters most to Islanders. The results will be used to help inform priorities and the way we share information with you in the future.
The survey:
- is open to Jersey residents aged 16 and over
- takes around 5–10 minutes to complete
- is anonymous.
