New water refill point in St Brelade’s Bay

We have unveiled our latest public water refill point, this time in St Brelade’s Bay.

Located at one of the Island’s most popular beach destinations, the refill point provides free drinking water for residents and visitors, making it easy to stay hydrated on the go.

Expanding the Island’s network of refill stations forms part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and improving access to free drinking water in high footfall areas.

Martin Skyba, Head of Water Network at Jersey Water, said:

“Providing easy access to refill points in popular locations like St Brelade’s Bay encourages people to make simple changes, like refilling instead of buying bottled water. It’s a simple shift that can cut reliance on single-use plastics and help reduce waste.”

This is the seventh outdoor facility to be added to our Island-wide network, which so far includes Howard Davis Park, St Aubin, St John’s Village, St Clement’s Sports Hub, Halkett Street and the Weighbridge, as well as indoor points at Jersey Airport.

We are continuing to expand our network of refill stations, with a commitment to install at least two new points each year across the Island.

The St Brelade’s Bay refill point is conveniently located on the promenade in front of the seafront gardens.

We would like to thank the Infrastructure and Environment Department’s Parks and Gardens team for their support with the installation.
