As part of our ongoing essential upgrades in Conway Street, we need to temporarily turn off the water supply overnight on Tuesday 28 April from 23:00 until 06:00 on Wednesday 29 April.
We’re completing this work overnight to minimise disruption for customers.
What you may notice:
- No water supply
- Temporary changes to water pressure once supply is restored
- Slightly cloudy or discoloured water when water returns.
If your water appears cloudy or discoloured, run your kitchen cold tap for a few minutes until it clears.
If you experience issues after the water has been turned back on or you have any concerns about the shut-off, contact our Customer Services team on (01534) 707300. If you need us outside of these hours, contact our emergency team on (01534) 707302.
We have contacted residents and businesses in the area and we will be providing regular updates throughout the works.

Support for customers who may need extra help
If you or anyone at your property requires additional support during the overnight shut‑off (for example due to a medical need or mobility issue), please contact us in advance of 28 April. This will give us time to discuss your needs and, where appropriate, put support in place or arrange an alternative water supply.
