From Monday 13 July for several weeks, we are supporting the Government’s Infrastructure & Environment team with upgrades to their sewerage pipework in La Grande Route de St Jean.
As our existing water main sits directly above the sewer pipework being replaced, we need to install a temporary overground water main to allow these works to continue safely.
Once the sewerage upgrade is complete, we will take the opportunity to replace our existing water main with a new and improved pipe, to improve the resilience of our mains water network.
Some customers may experience temporary disruption to their supply, but we will make sure to give sufficient notice.
Our Jersey Water teams and vehicles will be onsite while we work alongside Infrastructure & Environment over the coming weeks, so we will be on hand to support with any customer enquiries. Our Customer Services team will also be contactable by phone and email as usual.
