A place to grow
I don’t ever want to stop learning. Even though I’m getting towards the end of my working life, I still like a challenge. Since I started working here three years ago, I’m still learning new things. It’s definitely a place where you can grow and progress. A job here is what you want to make of it.
Supportive culture
It’s a great place to gain confidence. Everyone is very supportive. The culture allows us to make mistakes as we learn and grow into the role. That’s why I feel comfortable here and supported to do the job to the best of my ability. At the end of the day, I can go home happy, knowing I’ve achieved something. That’s a great feeling.
Great place for families
I was born and bred on Jersey and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. I’m surrounded by friends and family, and there’s so much to do here. Even if people go away for a bit, for university or work, they tend to return. It’s the quality of life. We’re surrounded by beautiful scenery and there’s a real sense of community. It’s such a great place to settle and bring up children – and, now for me, grandchildren!
